John Jordan, an ordained minister of the Assemblies of God and senior pastor of Calvary Assembly of God in Beckley, West Virginia, was elected as the Assistant District Superintendent on July 8, 2005, at a specially-called District Council session. John served as presbyter of Section Five for the previous five years and as senior pastor of Calvary Assembly during that time. Prior to his election as pastor, he served as youth pastor of the church for two years. In addition to his district duties, John serves on the Board of Regents at Southeastern University (Lakeland, FL). He is married to Stephanie and they have three children: Nathaniel, Lydia, and Thaddaeus. The Jordans reside in Crab Orchard, West Virginia.
